The IUCN Red List serves as a reminder that biodiversity is changing rapidly and that many species are facing extinction due to habitat loss, climate change, pollution, and human activity. By learning about these species and the challenges they face, we become better equipped to appreciate, protect, and advocate for the natural world. My hope is that these portraits encourage curiosity, inspire conversations about conservation, and remind viewers that every species has value and deserves a future.
